Are you a disabled supporter, or do you know a disabled supporter, who attends the Saints Women’s games?
Level Playing Field have launched its first-of-its-kind survey to seek the views and opinions of disabled match-going fans who attend women’s football.
Women’s football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK. With the England national team’s success, it’s only gotten bigger!
Attendances at Women’s Super League games have increased by 200%, and the average attendances in the Women’s Championship, where Saints Women currently play, are up by 85% since England became Euro Champions in July 2022.
Whilst the wonderful increases in attendances are brilliant, disabled supporters cannot be left behind and must be included in plans for the women’s game.
The survey runs until April 7th, and it is important that as many disabled supporters as possible complete the survey so everyone’s experiences can be collected.
Saints Women play their home games at St Mary’s so disabled supporters will benefit from the accessibility already put in place for the men’s games, but do you attend Saints Women’s away games or maybe a women’s club other than Saints Women? If so what are your experiences at those stadiums?
You can complete the survey by clicking LPF Women’s Survey.
