Over the summer, the Sensory Room at St Mary’s has undergone a complete makeover thanks to Bargate Homes.
The previous sensory room was opened in 2017, but 7 years later it needed refurbishment, and now has specialist sensory equipment installed, as well as a brand new range of interactive stimuli, including a state-of-the-art projector, a sound and light panel, LED lighting, soft play, and more specialist features.
As they played a huge part of making the makeover a success, the room will now be known as The Bargate Homes Sensory Room.
The room allows supporters who may otherwise find a matchday challenging to enjoy the games at their own pace, and is open for any supporters that may benefit from such as a space including those with dementia or Alzheimer’s and their family and friends.
