Mark Carter Committee Member | Back to Our Team |
My name is Mark Carter. I’m from Southampton and have been a fan of the Saints since I was 4 years old and sat watching the 76 Cup Final with a red and white bobble hat and a football rattle.
My first Saints game was when my Father took me to a friendly at the Dell v Vancouver White Caps. I got to see the late great Alan Ball play.
I followed the Saints through golden times in the 80’s watching the likes of Shilton, Keegan, Moran, Williams, and Golac, through European games, Le Tissier’s golden years, the 2003 cup run and final, and topped off by a euro win over Vitesse Arnhem at St Mary’s.
I continue to follow the Saints and have been lucky enough to attend matches at St Mary’s courtesy of the great and ongoing work of the SDSA in the past.
I am now honoured to be a Committee member of the SDSA and to help them continue their fantastic work on behalf of all fans.
