My name is Mark Harpur, I deal with incoming phone calls to the SDSA Mobile.
I am originally from Belfast and I spent my summer holidays, all 10 weeks between relatives in Winchester and Southampton.
My first Saints game was a League Cup 1st leg tie against Watford at home. Saints won 4-0 with goals from Nick Holmes (2) and Charlie George (2) and then proceeded to lose the away leg 7-1!
The greatest moment for me as a Saints fan was as a child when Lawrie Mcmenemy signed the then european Footballer of the year Kevin Keegan – even John Craven’s Newsround covered the story.
Highlights for me on the pitch were the dark days, the JPT Cup, the promotions, the European Qualifications and trips and last not least the win against Spurs at White Hart Lane.
I have held a season ticket at St Mary’s since it opened and travel regularly to away games.
