SDSA Ambassadors at Paris 2024 – Results

2 of our Ambassadors competed at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Both David Smith OBE (Boccia) and Aaron Phipps MBE (Wheelchair Rugby) won gold medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics (held in 2021), but were unable to retain their Paralympic titles in Paris.

David

David competed in the Men’s Individual (BC1 class) and won his 3 pool games and quarter final, but lost his semi final and the Bronze medal game that followed.

He then competed with 2 fellow players in the Mixed team (BC1/BC2 class) and won 1 of the 2 pool games, but lost after a tie-break in the quarter final.
