The SDSA held their annual Open Day at St Mary’s on Tuesday 25th August.
Whilst most of the visitors had a fantastic time, there were a lot of people that had to queue in the rain due to a limit in the capacity of the Dell Cafe. We are extremely sorry if you had to queue and got wet.
Our Patron, the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Southampton, Councillor Linda Norris, kindly opened the day.
There was lot to see and do including a caricaturist, a face painter, plus a bit of magic.
We were also very lucky to have Saints’ first ever Trophy on show which they won in 1890! The Hampshire Junior Trophy was very kindly lent to us by TrophyMan Supplies of Sholing, Southampton.
We would like to thank our Ambassador, Francis (Franny) Benali, Matt Le Tissier, Lawrie McMenemy, and Jim Steele for coming plus Fans For Diversity for helping us fund the day.
