Riverside Youth Football Club Tournament 2015

The SDSA were at the Riverside Youth Football Club Tournament (in aid of Smile4Wessex) on Saturday 20th June at Stoneham Park. We were the sponsor of the event.

A few of the committee manned (and womanned) a table, talking to the young players taking part in the tournament, as well as their families, and passing on what we do. There was a bucket of sweets which was a hit with the youngsters, and hopefully it didn’t affect their games.

The tournament didn’t fit with what we do by helping disabled supporters have a good match day experience at St Mary’s, but we felt that it was a very good opportunity to advertise the SDSA, so that friends and family that know a disabled Saints supporter found out about us.
