Women’s Games now have Audio Commentary

Starting with the women’s home game at St Mary’s against Blackburn Rovers on March 12th, blind and partially sighted supporters will be able to listen to special commentary provided by Southampton FC and Alan March Sport.

The commentary is free and available to all, home and away, fans and is a specially trained describer explaining all the in-play action as it happens, ensuring listeners get to experience as much of the excitement of a live game as possible.

The men’s first team games have had audio commentary for a number of seasons, so we welcome that it will now be available for women’s games too.

The commentary is completely free, and all you need to do is register your interest by emailing [email protected], and details on how to access each fixture will be provided.
