Refreshment Signage at St Mary’s

When COVID-19 restrictions were applied at St Mary’s, the dedicated accessible lanes for concourse refreshments were lost, which made the buying of refreshments harder for disabled supporters on match days.

We spoke to the club, and it was agreed as an oversight when they were trying to comply with the regulations to make supporters safe while at the stadium.

Every refreshment point within the stadium concourses should now have a dedicated lane to a lower counter for disabled supporters.

In the past the lower counter has been a perfect place for supporters to complete their refreshments by adding sugar to their drinks and ketchup etc to their food, but this has stopped disabled supporters placing their orders.

This will now be monitored by the catering company and also the club, so it should not happen anymore, and disabled supporters will be able to place their orders.
